Success!

Success!

Last night was an enormous success I hung about in the garden waiting for her – Jacky - to get home from work and strolled in when she opened the door. She seemed genuinely please to see me and complimented me on my coat. I can see she has a good and discerning eye.

The water-spraying friend from next door popped in for a glass of wine. We ignored each other! I find that this is the best way to treat non-cat people. She will eventually come round and we will be friends I am sure of that.

Jacky was tired and spent the evening on the sofa with her feet up. She invited me onto her lap, another good sign. I accepted, one needs to get the feel of the lap, it is a very important part of the relationship which one builds with ones friend. Her lap was not too bony or too soft, rather comfortable in fact! She does tend to fidget but I am sure I can always sort that out.

I really feel at home here. Its quiet, no children or dogs and Jacky has a pleasing voice – this is very important. She is an expert tummy tickler, not too big on cuddles, which I appreciate and she obviously understands the advantages of living with an attractive cat like me.

I like her, she likes me. I think I have found what I am looking for!
