I think I might have hit the jackpot!
I have spotted a woman on her own and obviously in need of company! I took the initiative and looked in on her, she was very friendly. Tickled the tummy and put down the obligatory saucer of milk. I wonder when humans will get the message that cats are not that fond of milk! We prefer water – bottled and, in my case, from the fridge. Unfortunately she was on her way out so we couldn't really bond but an open window facilitated further investigation:
A comfortable sofa, lots of cushions in good sunny spots, double bed and day bed, great view from the upstairs window - all very good signs
I wasn't surprised to see various Cat pictures, a couple of Cat statuettes and a photograph of a happy looking cat under a duvet............. seems too good to be true.
Will keep my paws crossed and pop in on her again this evening.
